The breakfast spread was fantastic with a great variety of food, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Had a brilliant time. The venue was lovely little, I liked the location very close to the local chapel, and the whole island, and ocean views. The hotel had the best possible and quiet position, to the cliff top. I tried some drinks at pub The Small House, located 5 minutes walk away. The beds were comfortable and the room was brand-new and nicely decorated. The personal was exceptionally attentive and EXCELLENT.

The young staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke exceptionally good english. Although the hotel has few facilities itself you can use those at the nearby estalagem - we didn't feel the need to. The food is excellent, freshly cooked, reasonably priced and service excellent too. We ate there each night (4) of our stay. The decor is modern, fresh and interesting in design and the whole place has a really nice relaxed atmosphere. It is right by the sea and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. We visit madeira regularly and we're definitely going back!

The hotel was closed for the season but we were taken in charge by their parent hotel the Estalagem da Ponta do Sol, which was just fantastic.

This place has exceptional staff and outstanding views of the beach, with good amenities in the king room like a mini-fridge-bar, air conditioning, and a personal safe, all for a satisfying rate of £68.

we were upgraded to Estalagem da Ponta do Sol, since the street was closed. the idea was to rest for a few days and that's what we got. good looking hotel, friendly staff, great restaurant, breathtaking views, good interior\exterior pools\sauna\turkish bath. would recommend it for sure

The hotel has a very quite (in winter) location, where one can enjoy mornings in from of the ocean and fall asleep with the waves as the background music. We enjoyed a lot levada walks for which hotel provides a transfer every day. Hotel stuff is helpul and friendly. The roomes are newly designed using calm colors and natural materials. It is a place for a relaxing holiday.

A quiet really sunny corner of the island and away from the mass tourism sites. A small, cosy hotel with a very good modern design. Sitting in the Café in front of it is almost like sitting on the corso of a small Italian city. Some few discreet guests, and if you are lazy: even dinner is good there.

Breakfast extremely basic. Dinner service at Ponta Do Sol good but very slow. Though room had a seaview but tree blocking the view. The day we left,there was a stage being prepared just in front of the hotel for a political rally which could potentially be very noisy
